 Joey Freeman is coordinator at Brutontown Community Center. He was formerly the assistant coordinator at Mt. Pleasant Community Center. Joey brings years of experience to the children and adults at Brutontown. He has worked in recreation in therapeutic settings, churches, and with the Y.

| The new Brutontown Community Center was dedicated on March 24. Several hundred friends, neighbors and dignitaries celebrated the occasion. The new facility is the result of a long time partnership between the Greenville County Recreation District and the Greenville County Redevelopment Authority. |
